100 Saxon inspired names for DnD, Pathfinder and Warhammer

100 Saxon inspired names for DnD, Pathfinder and Warhammer

This is the first in what will be a series of posts that aims to help, or at least provide inspiration, for naming NPC's and players.

So, in the event you struggle to come up with new surnames for NPC's or Players for your table top gaming sessions, I've compiled a list that I've been using as inspiration in my Talth worldbuilding project.

These are all Saxon (Germanic is probably more accurate) inspired surnames, as that's kind of the vibe in Talth, or at least in the centre of the continent. To give you a flavour, here are a few samples of names included:

Aeryndar, Lannerfold, Caerver, Bledswill, Daegorian and Hunt.

The list is  comprised of 100 names; provided in both alphabetical order and in a random d100 order table. They've been set up in A4 landscape format, to make it as convenient as possible for you, regardless whether you want to keep them on your device, or print them out....hence why I've provided them in colour and in a print friendly black and white version too.

The list of 100 Saxon Inspired Surnames comes as a Free 2 Page PDF. (1.5MB in size)
